Walter Hays Winter Celebration Dinner

Friday, December 2nd from 5:30 to 7:30pm,

East Palo Alto Senior Center, 560 Bell Street (corner University Avenue), East Palo Alto
Come join your fellow Walter Hays families in the comfort of a deliciously cooked dinner made with love by Walter Hays parents. Come together this winter season to celebrate the inclusive community that we stand for, where members from various backgrounds, religions, and languages are all cherished and welcomed. The evening offers a unique opportunity for sharing warm holiday spirits, friendships, and good times.

Each year, Walter Hays joins together for a special celebration during the winter holiday season. This year in particular, Walter Hays PTA is reaching out to everyone through a spirit of unity – that we are one school, one community. Bring your family and invite your friends! This event is open to the entire Walter Hays community. The evening will begin with a delicious buffet dinner and amazing desserts, followed with crafts and activities for the children, and much more.

Walter Hays Book Fair – A Book, Inc bookstore in the MP Room

Monday, Nov 28th – Friday, Dec 2nd

Open all day till 4pm (2.30pm on Wed)

Please visit the Book Fair – it’s a super fun event and it also serves as a critical fundraiser for our school library. Our school earns up to 20% of Book Fair sales – and it’s the only source of income for our library to buy new books for the year.

Tick off all your holiday shopping for the whole family. There’s everything from pre-school to young adult books, fiction/non fiction plus an eclectic range of lifestyle, biography and novels for everyone.

You can now buy a Gift Card in advance for your child, your teacher and/or your librarian. Buying a Gift Card in advance means your child can buy books without having to bring cash to school. The Gift Card is kept on file at check-out all week until your child claims it. To buy, click on this link:
