Second Grade Distance Learning Read-a-thon for COVID Relief in India
To put May's core value of cooperation into action, the 2nd grade distance learning students have decided to log the pages they read from May 14th until May 27th to raise money to support the people suffering from COVID in India.
They came up with this idea after the grandfather of two children in the class passed away from COVID last week. Total pages read by the class will be shared with the Walter Hays community on Tuesday, June 1st, so that people can make their donations.
Yearbooks will be distributed during the week of May 24-June 2nd.
Self-Serve Pickup will be outside of the Front Office from May 27-June 3rd (school days only). Yearbooks will be arranged in alphabetical order by Student's Last Name in their respective class box.
Students will be receiving their yearbooks from their teachers sometime between the date range stated.
If you haven't made a purchase yet, there are only twelve remaining yearbooks (from our additional order) that will be offered on a first come first serve basis. If interested, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to verify availability and payment method. The last day to purchase will be Tuesday, May 25th.

Mindful Magazine also has a page of free resources here.
Let us know if you find any additional resources and would like to pass them on.
Have a deliciously mindful summer.
